Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan guna meneliti kontribusi pengalaman magang, soft skill dan motivasi kerja terhadap kesiapan kerja mahasiswa generasi Z. Pengambilan sampel (purposive sampling) digunakan untuk mendapatkan 112 responden dalam penelitian kuantitatif, dengan fokus pada mahasiswa Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis Universitas Dian Nuswantoro, angkatan 2022. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner dengan menggunakan skala likert kemudian dilakukan analisis regresi linier berganda menggunakan SPSS versi 26. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengalaman magang berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kesiapan kerja, serta soft skill juga berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kesiapan kerja mahasiswa. Namun motivasi kerja tidak menunjukkan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kesiapan kerja. Bersamaan dengan itu, secara simultan pengalaman magang, soft skill dan motivasi kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kesiapan kerja mahasiswa. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pengalaman magang, soft skill menjadi faktor yang lebih dominan dalam meningkatkan kesiapan kerja mahasiswa generasi Z, sehingga perguruan tinggi perlu memperkuat program magang dan pengembangan soft skill mahasiswa.
