Abstract
Transformasi yang dimaksud meliputi: (i) Penjualan langsung dari petani ke konsumen atau pasar induk..(ii).Keterlibatan kelembagaan lokal seperti koperasi, kelompok tani nelayan.(iii) Pemanfaatan teknologi digital untuk pemasaran online hasil perikanan..(iv) Dari hasil analisis, diketahui bahwa saluran distribusi baru lebih efektif karena (v) Memotong rantai distribusi, sehingga peran tengkulak atau pengepul berkurang. (vi) Margin pemasaran menurun, yang berarti biaya pemasaran lebih kecil.(vii) Farmer’s share meningkat, sehingga petani menerima bagian harga jual yang lebih besar. (viii) Pendapatan petani tambak naik, yang berdampak pada perbaikan taraf hidup mereka.Dengan demikian, penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa transformasi channel distribution bukan hanya persoalan efisiensi tataniaga, melainkan juga strategi peningkatan kesejahteraan petani tambak. Selain itu, keberadaan saluran distribusi baru yang lebih modern mampu memperkuat daya saing produk perikanan darat dari Kabupaten Pangkep, baik di pasar lokal maupun regional.
Transformasi ini menjadi sangat relevan karena kondisi petani tambak di Pangkep selama ini dihadapkan pada rendahnya harga jual di tingkat produsen, margin pemasaran yang tinggi, serta ketergantungan pada pedagang perantara. Dengan memperkenalkan sistem distribusi baru yang lebih pendek, penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan farmer’s share, efisiensi distribusi, dan pendapatan petani.
